Jean-Michel is now Associate Professor of Jazz at the Schulich School of Music of McGill University in Montreal, QC, Canada.

He will be the new Jazz Area Chair starting January 2017, and will also be teaching a Seminar on improvisation in all styles to 40 McGill jazz and classical students.
